contouring and highlighting for dusky skin

hi..... 1 year back I went through a new concept. Contouring and highlighting. kim kardasian has given a new definition of contouring and highlighting by her unique style of makeup. internet literally has thousand and thousands of article about highlighting and contouring. so what is the need of this particular article?? the article is less about technique of contouring and highlighting and more about I have faced the problem to get the right product for contouring and highlighting. 1st of all the problem is  in India beauty products are of very limited shades. In Europe or USA there is whole new level of shades and budget products from very well known brands. but beauty industry of India lacks in this point. Lakme,Maybelline,coloressence and many of other brands may provide good foundations but they have limited shades. In the result fair toned beauties will be able to find her contouring product but for dusky skin girl it is impossible to find 2-3 shade darker than her original skin for contouring. in this article i'll focus to give a solution of this problem.

1st what is contouring and highlighting???
if you have round face contouring will help you to define your features. it will create an illusion of your jaw line and prevent the round look. it will hide if you have big forehead. it will help you to define your nose. by highlighting you can get a fresh and brightened look and a sharp nose feature. in this picture you will get the brief idea about it.

now the problem is to find the right product in india for dusky skinned girl. trust me, I have gone trough tons of product just to find the right shade. contouring can be done via foundations, concealers and eye shadows. In foundation it was impossible to find dark shades. when I tried to use lighter shades for highlighting it ended up resulting in cakey look. sad sad sad!!!! may be I was beginner of this thing. it also can be a problem. then I tried different concealers. it ended up with same result like foundation. here I need to mention that I was looking for budget friendly product in India. now most of the shadows have sparkles in it. so, I couldn't use it. for highlighting I have tried white highlighter from sivana pallete but I was not looking natural.  so, then got this bronzer from star cosmetics. the shade is golden. so the point is if you are of warm tone go for golden shade for highlighting. if you want go for cream based product then try to get something with golden base. For contouring go for some cool tone. I have purchased freedom mono eye shadow in the shade of nude or you can purchase everyone's favorite L.A girl pro HD concealer in the shade of coca. I have gone through other reviews. depending on that you can go for misscaires single eye shadows  in the shade of brown. i think these products will definitely help you out if you are in a search for contouring and highlighting products . happy contouring and highlighting!!!!

simple every day makeup look

hi guys..... if you are wondering about simple everyday look then please follow this article.
morning look will be neutral less dramatic. I prefer not to apply contouring, highlighting and eye shadows at the day. so, it should be very simple but beautiful.

1st  of all prep your skin. it will help you to glow even in summer. then I have moisturized my face. then I had applied sunscreen. as it is day time so there will be needed some good spf containing sunscreen. it will prevent from oxidizing. then I have applied primer in the face. it will help the makeup to stick together. then I have applied bb cream. you people can go for foundation or cc cream. but as bb cream is very light and brighten my face that's why I have choose it. then use a concealer to hide the dark spots and blemishes. then set it with some powder. then you a eye primer. it  will hide the darkness of your eyelid and it will hold the makeup. but its optional. you can skip it. then  I have drawn a cat eyeliner. I skipped kajal part. but you should go for it. it will make your eye more attractive. then I went straight to lips. I applied some lip balm. it'll moisturize your lip. then apply lipstick. I applied a pink lipstick. it is light shade. TADA!!!! you are done and ready.

Budget makeup for begineers within 300 bucks

if you are a beginner of makeup and you are very puzzled what to buy and what not then this article will help you to decide. the article is about the basic of makeup within budget. if you are a college or school going girl who has a tight budget and who doesn't want to make a hole in the pocket by buying high end products in the beginning then you can follow it. there are many good products offered by well known brands in a very cheap price. in the beginning don't go for very less known brands because it can create an adverse effect in your skin. slowly when you will understand the type of your skin then you can go for experimentation in your skin. but my suggestion is go for herbal products. its best for your skin as it has no chemical.

this article is manly for teenage girls who has very fresh skin, no dark spots, under eye circle to hide. so, I am not going for the details about concealer or under eye gel/cream. here I am discussing basic products by which you can achieve beautiful look without burning a hole in your pocket.

BB cream: After prepping your skin you should 1st go for BB cream. there are lots of bb creams are available in the market from high end brand to low end brand. but my pickup is ponds BB cream. though it has only one shade available but it really goes with dusky complexion to fair complexion. it brightens the face immediately. you can go for garnier bb cream also . but I have gone through most of the reviews between garnier and ponds. people has preferred ponds.

price: 69 to 75 rupee for 9 gm with spf 30 ( I got it from amazon in 69/). it is available in any drugstore in the Indian market.

Kajal and Eyeliner: after applying BB cream you need kajal and eyeliner to define your eyes. for me 1 kohl and a brush is sufficient. but if you are beginner and you struggle with brush applicator then purchase kajal and eyeliner both. i'll pick up Himalaya kajal. it is very dark and good for eyes as it is a herbal product. only problem is after 2-3 hours it starts to fade. it is not smudge proof  but if you don't have the tendency to rub your eyes then it will stay for 2-3 hours. for eyeliner i'l pickup lakme insta liner or elle18 water resist BO liner or street wear color rich liquid eyeliner.

price: kajal is 45 rupee.  lakme insta liner is 110(but I got it on 80/ from amazon) or elle18 water resist BO liner is 85 rupee and street wear color rich liquid eyeliner is 80 rupee. those are available in any drugstore in the Indian market.

lipstick or lip balm: after eyeliner next part is lip. if you are going in day light I will like to apply nude color(my pick will be oriflamme lipstick in the shade of coca butter) or just apply lip balm. i'll pick Vaseline lip balm here. if you are going in a party apply some pink or red or orangish  shade. my pick up is oriflamme cherry compote. but oriflamme is only available though agents. so go for elle 18 lipstick in the shade of hot pink or crimson red or tangerine shot. it will go with every skin tone.
you can apply lipstick and lip balm both or can skip any one.

price: Vaseline lip balm(10 rupee max. can't remember though).
          oriflamme lipstick (100 rupee)
           elle 18 lipstick( 120 rupee but I got it in 100 rupee from amazon)
all these are available in any drugstore in the Indian market.

now these are essential for base makeup. now there are some other products which is skipable.

Compact: if you have oily skin and tendency to get oily very soon then you need powder and puff for little touch up. my pick will be ponds sandal talc. one warning. use very little of it. other wise you will become ghostly looking paranoid.

price: 38 rupee for 50 gm

Nail polish: who doesn't like beautiful nail paints? there are lots of nail polish available in the market. my pick will be blue heaven nail polish in the shade of 414.

price: 20 rupees

deodorant: if you have tendency to sweat a lot you probably need a deo. my pick will be  sure women mini roll on passion deodorant .

price: 55 rupee for 25 ml( available on amazon)

TADA!!!! you have your own basic makeup and it is dirt cheap. (BB cream=69)+(Kajal=45)+ eyeliner=80)+(lipstick=100)=294rupees and for oily skin =294+(compact =38)= 332 (prices may very).

miss claire eyeshadow review

hi!!how r you guyz? today i am reviewing miss claire's eyeshadow. miss claire's single eye shadows are very popular in the market with cheap price and their good pigmentation. now lets see what miss claire's pallet has to offer.

price: 299 rupees (i got it from flipkart)

shade no:  3716

weight: 1.2g*11=13g (approx)

ingredients: talc,mica,magnesium, stearate,dimethicone,ethylhexyl palmitate, polybutene, synthetic wax, mineral oil, methylparaben, propylparaben

packaging: it came with typical eyeshadow box. no wonder in that. one point is that it has a mirror in it. nothing fancy.

my experience: I went through lots of review about miss claire eyeshadows. its a korean brand.this is my first purchase. there are 11 colors in that box. it doesn't have high pigmentation. if you apply with eye shadow primer then it will last 6 hour. without primer it will last 1-2 hours and it will start to fade. if you don't have eyeshadow primer 1st apply any bb or cc cream. then apply this shadow. it will also give at least 5 hours stay of color in the eyelid. i love the deep velvet, velvet, red and pink shadow most. black shadow will help to create a smokey effect. it has sparkle in it. for best effect apply a matte eyeshadow then apply this eyeshadow and then wipe off the sparkle with help of a tissue paper. you can directly apply it also.

PROS:
1. cheap compare to other branded eyeshadows
2. has a mirror
3. it has sparkle in it
4. buildable pigmentation

CONS
1.contains paraben
2. no matte finish
3.availability

should i recommend this eyeshadow???
if you are a beginner then you can definitely try it out. though it won't give you  very pigmented effect but it is very cheap and ideal for 1st timers.

blue heaven walk free lipstick review and haul

recently blue heaven company is not that unknown brand anymore. its kajal was well known. now their lipsticks are getting attention too. I have done a haul on blue heaven's new launch walk free lipstick. today I am reviewing on shade no 02 and 17 from walk free lipstick collection and a transparent lip gloss from blue heaven.

price: 70 rupee each (I got it directly from blue heaven cosmetics with discount)

lipstick no- LP 02, LP  17 and Long Lasting Lip Gloss(112)

weight: 4gm

packaging: its like other normal lipstick available in India. nothing special. there is a lipstick bullet and a cap in black color.


my experience: I had purchased lipsticks from blue heaven before. these used to have some weird smell but this walk free collection is free from these kind of smell. LP 02 has deep pinkish shade though if you go to the site the picture which is available for this shade looks like light pinkish shade. but when I 1st swatch it I found that it is deep in color which will look good on every kind of skin I guess.
next is LP 17 shade. Its from brown family. shade is light brown though the picture available for this lipstick seems dark brown in the particular site of blue heaven. I found that pictures are bit miss leading.

   

next there is long lasting lip gloss in the shade of 117. its transparent lip gloss and there is no shinny particles are available in that lip gloss. some cheap lip gloss contain shinny sparkles but it has no such thing.

  PROS:
 1. very cheap
 2.good pigmentation
 3. no weird smell
 4. creamy texture
 5.glossy finish

Cons:
1. Not long lasting
2. no matte finish

should I recommend this lipstick?
oh yes!!!!! its very cheap. so college going girls can definitely think about it. its very pigmented compared to other cheap lipstick available in the market.

how to get saloon like hair spa at home

nourish your hair with oil at night before the day you will shampoo. I prefer coconut oil. you can use any oil of you choice.

then make a mask for the hair which will consist of
1)egg/honey
2)three sachets of conditioner
3) yogurt
4) mixture of coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil( it will be good if you can add argan oil)
5) hair cream (Himalaya antidandruff hair cream)
6)hair mask( biotiqoue bio musk root)
7) aloe vera gel (2 spoon, I prefer patanjali aloe vera gel)

apply this mark for min 1 hour maximum 2 hour and then rinse it off. for shampoo use two type of shampoos. avoid huge chemical contained shampoos. I prefer tresemme keratin smooth and keya seth's silk and shine shampoo. 1st I take some water in the mug and mix the keya seth's silk and shine shampoo in that water then apply it to the scalp. then wash it and apply Himalaya antidandruff hair cream. let it remain for 10 minutes. then wash it off by  tresemme keratin smooth  shampoo. then apply conditioner. I prefer tresemme keratin smooth conditioner. then rinse it off. wrap hair in the towel and let it dry

  

after drying your hair apply serum and hair cream. I prefer Matrix Biolage Smoothing Serum and himalaya herbals ani dandruff hair cream Here .it makes wonder. and tada !!!!!you saloon like hair is done.

results are pretty good at least for two days. in saloon heavy chemicals is been used which damages the hair. if you can continue this treatment in every week and you will get freeze free, detangled, soft shiny hair.( though I am too lazy to continue it....so I follow the treatment once a month.)
